Our Mission

Know Consequences. Shouldn't it be "no" consequences, well we wish it was but sadly it is not. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. For every cause there is an effect. There are some in society that deny this very simple and undeniable truth. They try to convince the public that there is no reaction for an action, that there are no consequences for behavior. Some may know who these people are, networks such as MTV, Showtime, ABC, NBC, CBS, and scores of others. People who know the consequences, but try to convince you as the viewer that there are none. For example, MTV on an hour long special over HIV told viewers that “the image needs to change that it is a death sentence, because its notâ€.

Think about that, HIV is not a death sentence; is that true? Well, if you do not stop taking the pills that are keeping your immune system alive then maybe so. But what happens when you stop taking those pills? Your immune system will break down and before long full blown AIDS will be a reality. Remember though, HIV is not a death sentence. This is a sad deception. One that justifies wrong behavior and tells viewers that there are no consequences for their actions, when if one KNOWS the consequences: the opposite is found to be true.

This is the mission of this website. To show you the programming that is occurring on network and cable television to engage the mind to think about the issues that are being portrayed. We are asking people to stop being idle viewers of culture and to really look at what media outlets are trying to say. This is the beginning of a website that will give you sound and video clips from all types of media outlets as we try to remind people that one needs to know the consequences for their actions and not be misled to believe there are no consequences.

Another aspect that we wish to emphasize is that no matter what the world has to offer whether it be sex, material goods, status, power, wealth, or success; nothing compares to the happiness that one can find in the Savior. Too many times in our lives we run after things that will not bring us happiness or satisfaction. The prophet Isaiah puts it best when he asks in Isaiah 55:2 “Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and our wages for what does not satisfy?†Ultimately the world will come up empty in its offerings, yet compare that with Christ in John 4 who states that He is the “living water†and “whoever drinks of the living water that I will give him shall never thirst.â€In simple terms, nothing can compare with the Savior and what He can offer to our lives.

By trusting in the Savior, we know this is our duty. We know that God has spoken to man and given him truth, namely the Bible. We know that God cares about his creation, that is why He sent His Son to die for our sins on the cross. We know that God is gracious, that He desires His creation to worship Him. But we also know that God is just. We know that He will judge the Earth and all who are in it. We know that He wants all to come to Him and that it is our job as believers to share the Gospel, the Gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ. We want to emphasize that the grace that is available through Christ's death can cover all sins and that nothing remains, but we also realize that Satan is the master of deception. He wants us to believe that we can escape the consequences of our actions by asking God's forgiveness. This is a half truth in that there is nothing Christ's grace cannot forgive, but that does not mean that He may let us escape without any consequences. We just want people to realize this final truth so that they may avoid behaviors or actions that could lead to results that will have to be lived with for the rest of their lifetime. It is because of this that this website was created. We want to stand up for truth in a time where the lines of truth are being blurred. We believe that this is our job as believers to foremost share the Gospel and to stand up for truth. - Stowe Campbell
